Tue 3 Jul 2012, 14:41:Nym...fancy coming up with some builds based around master of magic to abuse this months Flux?
Tue 3 Jul 2012, 15:07:I think you can probably just stagger the current skills - so air, fire, air, fire etc.

it says skills do does it include spells?
Wed 4 Jul 2012, 12:19:yeh I have been running an air/fire spike in RA to some success (a lot of it depends on who the rest of the team are)... had a couple of 20+ match runs last night with it when the team had another ele and monk.

Attributes: Air 13, Fire 10, Energy 10 = lightning surge at 89 dmg
The biggest problem is choosing skills that recharge at similar rates and energy management. You need an even number of skills so that the damage does not reset itself and as you need to carry a rez sig it really limits your choice of whether you go for energy management, healing or increased damage because you can only afford to bring one of those skills with you. Another problem is if a skill is interrupted with a slow recharge by a ranger or mesmer... then you have to be really careful which alternative skill you use in the sequence so as to avoid a reset.
It is quite good seeing the damage become really big. I was making lightning strikes and fireballs with damage up to 170+ I could take down most monks on my own in two sets of my skill bar. But the build is only really useful for individual damage and wouldn't be much good in blocking the shrine.
Eles not using the flux were just as effective if I am honest about it. As such I think you should just stick with the tried and tested build given.
